This page is to create a sort of information for ministers and the Christian leaders in order to help their members. Churches or places of worship should be seen as a school to teach and mobilize members to spiritual and physical approach of their lives We have seen that talents are distributed and not concentrated into one place. Occasionally, ministers and members need to read from another source, to update their physical and spiritual images
From the research carried out by our magazine (Apostolic voices Magazine) on the position of the immigrant Christians in Italy, we saw that almost 85% of the immigrant churches were affected by the so called economics crisis in Italy. Some pastors explained how nearly all of their members lost the jobs, houses, business, to the extent that many have left the country in check for another green pastures. Many Churches are now empty ,not because there no people in the town but that many are discouraged of their situations, many Churches closed down for unable to pay the Church rent because the members were unable to pay Tithes and offerings to the church but also depend on pastors or churches for help out. We heard of some pastors running away from the church to nowhere without former notification to the members, or they were about disclosed. A pastor said,” Please magazine this is more than the test of faith but a spiritual warfare against the immigrant Churches that are not supported by Government for any help”.
The points gathered from some men of God, gave our magazine to quickly embark on a research of how to resolve the problems, and to bring the believers into lifeline again. Many points were gathered as the mistakes committed by some Ministers of God from the past which gave the crisis more power to hit the Churches than the normal. This calls for the awareness of the ministers and the leaders of believer’s congregation in Italy.
1 Many of the ministers in the past embarked on self centered ministration which brought disunity among the minister, trying to personalize the work of God as a property instead of having Christ as the head and director of the Church or congregations. This disunity created a lots of habits that are instrument of the crisis against the Churches, for instance any church governed by self conscious leader, things like mismanagement or misused of members resources spiritually and physically will be prone there.
2 Lack of the leaders to care for members from the past contributed to the crisis, in which leaders on care for the spiritual aspect of the members living the fiscal life to be exposed to hunger. This cause some of the members who are in Europe for more than ten years, yet unable to read or even write their names correctly. Our magazine now ask, how then can such members be exposed to the current development of the present world? Not to count on the past mistakes we were pressed to embark on the solutions, and from the points gathering as ways out we want to suggest these
The steps
1 PRAYERS AND SOUD WORDS OF GOD
As many ministers and leaders must have known that the spiritual controls the physical, they are now advise to initiate avenue for prayer and seminal of corporate anointing to depress the power of disunity which invited the ruling of the darkness in many congregation in Italy especially among immigrant churches
2 CREATINING JOB OPPORTUNITIES FOR MEMBERS
The leaders of the congregations are now advised to start creating job opportunity for their members, this will not expose their members to hungry. A member under abject poverty or hungry may not be able to serve God well, no sermon is good for an hungry man than to see food, hungry is a natural enemy one needs to defeat before he can fit for public activities.3 TRAINING EDUCATION
HOW TO CREATE JOB OPPORTUNITY
The leaders are advised to occasionally organize trainings for their members so as to fit for work and business calls, this may not be highly professionals but in the basic Areas like languages and computer usage. These two are the base for all other profession because if any man lack information, such man is far to breakthrough in all aspect. If websites and internet have become a global market, the education in these two will assist members to fish their ways out from around the world.
1 Some congregation has some potential artisans and Engineers in their group that is jobless. The leader can gather them as professional, open pages of advert for them in magazine to other believers as publicity to give them work. What one congregation lacks another congregation have it, the needs are not the same while opportunities scatter other groups.
2 the business guru in the group can come together in a church to jointly open a website if all have no capacity individually.
3 some congregation can jointly embark on things like DAY CARE ( asilo nido) for their members and people around them to create job opportunity
4 Voluntary organization is recognize by Italian government and it attract the government help in some cases
5 Many voluntary organizations like casa di riposo, supermarket, firm etc. are looking for collaborations to share with ,in which church can apply to take then up as part of work for their members .
Note:
1 Men of God must not look at this as commercializing church or word of God. The scripture says,” the sons of the darkness are wiser in their generation than the children of the light” Many good things like these have been practices among the unbelievers to wipe away the blots of the crisis.
